Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon End Six-Year Relationship

It's a startling turn in the glamorous yet tumultuous world of celebrity relationships. Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon, a couple who first connected through a dating app in 2018, have decided to part ways after six years together, as reported by Us Weekly and corroborated by other celebrity news sources.

The break-up, confirmed by an anonymous source close to Frankel, was apparently amicable but inevitable due to their contrasting personalities. "They are so different he's an under the radar kind of guy," the source revealed, noting that the split occurred two months prior to the report.

Frankel, a businesswoman and former star of "Real Housewives of New York City," and Bernon, a film producer, had moved in together in Boston about a year after meeting. Reflecting on their first date, Frankel expressed to People Magazine in April 2021,

"He had a twinkle. He came as advertised better than advertised. He overshot the mark."

Their relationship saw several ups and downs over the years. Frankel shared on The Ellen Degeneres Show in October 2020,

"We've had a great, great relationship. Not everything has to end badly. Some things just don't continue and it's not negative, it's just life."

After a brief separation, they reunited and got engaged in the spring of 2021 with Bernon proposing on a Florida island in what Frankel described as an intimate setting.

Despite the engagement, Frankel hinted at E! News last July that they were in no rush to walk down the aisle. She emphasized her desire to live life on her own terms,

"I love my life. I love my fiancé. He's an amazing life partner and I don't want to sign a contract with someone I love. I don't want to plan a massive wedding for everybody else and not [do] what we want. I like doing what you want, not what society wants you to do."

This isn't Frankel's first public break-up. She was previously married to Jason Hoppy, with whom she had a highly publicized divorce and custody battle over their daughter Brynn. Reflecting on her podcast, Frankel described the ordeal as

"literally the most traumatizing thing I will hopefully ever go through in my life."

As for what lies ahead for Frankel and Bernon, only time will tell. But one thing remains clear: both are poised to continue their lives, perhaps apart, but with the lessons learned and memories made during their time together.
