Two women file lawsuit against Brandon McManus and Jaguars.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Brandon McManus is facing serious allegations of sexual assault from two flight attendants. According to court documents obtained by ESPN, the incident occurred during a team charter flight to London in September 2023.

Flight attendants claim McManus acted inappropriately.

The lawsuit, filed on May 24 in Duval County Circuit Civil Court, details accusations that McManus, 32, "rubbed himself against" and "grinded against" the women during the flight. The women, identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, allege that McManus and several other players disregarded personal space and air travel safety, turning the flight into a "party."

Jaguars accused of failing to supervise McManus.

The women are also suing the Jacksonville Jaguars for failing to supervise McManus and not creating a safe environment. They are seeking over $1 million in damages and a jury trial. According to ESPN, the women were employed by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings at the time of the incident.

Allegations of inappropriate behavior during turbulence.

Jane Doe I claims McManus attempted to kiss her and made multiple attempts to "grind" on her during the flight. Jane Doe II confronted McManus after he allegedly touched her inappropriately, to which he "smirked and walked away."

McManus denies allegations, calls it an extortion attempt.

McManus' attorney, Brett R. Gallaway, has denied the allegations, calling them "fictitious" and part of an "extortion attempt" against his client. Gallaway stated, "We intend to aggressively defend Brandon's rights and integrity and clear his name by showing what these claims truly are."

Legal efforts to resolve matter before filing lawsuit.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the women, stated that attempts to resolve the matter outside of court were unsuccessful. Buzbee emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and his firm's commitment to pursuing the case.

Jaguars and Commanders respond to allegations.

The Jacksonville Jaguars acknowledged the complaint and its significance in a statement to ESPN. The team emphasized their commitment to high character and class. McManus, who signed a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders in March, is also under scrutiny by his new team. The Commanders are investigating the matter and have been in communication with the League Office and McManus' representation.
