The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev recovers from surgery.

Nina Dobrev updated fans on her recovery after her e-bike accident, thanking them for their "thoughts, prayers, and good vibes."

Nina Dobrev, famous for her role in 'The Vampire Diaries,' shared an Instagram update on her recovery post-surgery following a severe e-bike accident last month.

The actress took to Instagram, stating, «surgery was a success.» She expressed her gratitude: «Thank you to everyone who has been sending kind messages, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes. I have been feeling the support and positive energy. It means more than you will ever know.»


Dobrev also mentioned her pre-surgery nerves on her Instagram Story: «Anyone else get scared before surgery? I'm such a baby when it comes to needles, blood or procedures of any kind.»

Although Dobrev has not disclosed many specifics about the accident, she first informed fans on May 20 about being hospitalized due to the e-bike incident. She posted photos of herself on the bike and later in a hospital bed with a neck brace and leg splint, captioning the post, «How it started vs how it's going.»


Several celebrities showed their support in her comments. Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote, «Still managing to look gorge in a hospital bed,» while Zooey Deschanel added, «Noooo Hope you have a speedy recovery!» Dobrev's boyfriend, Olympian Shaun White, commented, «Just keeping things on brand.»

Since the accident, Dobrev has continued to update fans on her recovery process. She shared additional photos of her leg injury and recovery, humorously noting, «Life looks a lil different lately. Get ready for the leg content because that's all I've got in my camera roll these days.»
