Lily Allen has confessed to intentionally seducing a pop star crush of her best friend Miquita Oliver, causing a rift in their friendship.

Lily Allen, 39, co-hosts the podcast Miss Me with her lifelong friend Miquita Oliver. In a recent episode, Allen admitted she flew to Japan to seduce a pop star who Oliver had a crush on, showing no remorse for the betrayal. Allen claimed that pop stars are "fair game" and she "didn't care" about crossing her friend.

Oliver confronted Allen on their podcast, accusing her of sabotaging her in the early 2000s when they were both teenagers. Oliver shared, "There was a pop star...I found out that he fancied me. I told Lily that I liked him. Cue Lily, gets herself to a festival in Japan and seduces him."



Allen responded, admitting she went to Japan to "lock that one in" and said, "I fancied him, so I was getting mine. By the way, I think pop stars are fair game, like, I don't care."

Despite the betrayal, Oliver responded, "If I didn't hate you so much for it, I would have applauded you. It was admirable."

Lily Allen's Controversial Revelations

Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver have been friends since childhood, and their podcast often reveals shocking personal stories. In a previous episode, Allen disclosed she had sex with a TV star when she was "very young," describing the experience as "pretty traumatising."

Allen has been candid about her struggles balancing career and family. In a discussion on the Radio Times podcast, she blamed her children for derailing her pop music career. Allen, who has two daughters with ex-husband Sam Cooper, moved to New York in 2020 with her children and current husband, Stranger Things star David Harbour.

Continuing her point on the Radio Times podcast, Allen expressed frustration with the notion that one can be equally successful as a parent and in their career. "Does not mix," she said. "I get really annoyed when people say you can have it all because, quite frankly, you can't."
